Who Are You? (Let Us Know!)

I’ve been consistently blogging here at AdamHann.com for about 10 months now. It’s been really good for me to be able to share some of the things I’m learning and also to hear back from you who read the posts. The encouragement and challenge has been good. Hopefully it’s been something that’s beneficial for you too.

Since we are still kind of fresh in the year I thought I would take a break from my normal posts and do one that features you! I know that a lot of you also have blogs and write killer content for them. Maybe you don’t have a blog, but there’s that one blog you make sure you read every day.

Here’s how this works, in the comments below copy in the address to your blog (or favorite blog) and let us know what it’s about. If that’s to much work, just copy the link and let us know the author. Can’t make it much easier then that!

My goal is to try to make sure I visit all of the blogs shared, and hope you check others out too. So, share away! Pimp your blog out below!

Thanks, Adam! What a great idea. My blog began as the journal of my quest to find an agent/publisher for my third book, but it has evolved. I now use it to explore thoughts and ideas that move me, with a tie-in to writing. Here it is: http://www.lesakelleystember.blogspot.com/

      Great! Thanks for sharing!

    Hi, Adam,

This is a very cool idea. I’ll have to use it on my blog for my visitors one of these days, too. How fun and creative! The blog I visit daily, is actually a conglomeration of various blogs from Deaf and Hard of Hearing people from around the world with new posts throughout the day.  My blog posts are listed there once in awhile too.  http://www.deafread.com/

Hey Adam!  I have a blog – it’s just a little of everything for me – things I love, great recipes and musings I have on life, faith, and health.  Here’s my link: dittlerachel.wordpress.com  It’s mainly for personal enjoyment that I write. Hope you enjoy some of it too! :)

This is fun! My hands-down, absolute favorite blog is http://www.thebloggess.com. If you’re not familiar with The Bloggess, Jenny Lawson, please read this disclaimer: her blog is (at best PG-13). She has an R-rated vocabulary but is truly one of the most candid, organically funny bloggers I’ve encountered. She fights against the stigma and shame of mental illness and depression and has carried many of her readers (including me!) through some tough times, while sharing her own trials and tribulations. If you’re afraid to click the link, here’s a list of some of her accomplishments:

    - raised $45k and matched donors and recipients from her comments section to help families suffering from economic hardships have a wonderful Christmas in 2010
    - Christmas 2011, encouraged her readers to donate to an organization that was able to put together 750 night-time kits for homeless children (blanket, stuffed animals, books)
    - raised over $1000 to help offset the funeral costs of a stranger who was killed by a car near her home
    - donates $ raised from her shop on zazzle.com to various agencies

Just checked out her blog. Looks good. I may have to dig through it some more and check out some random posts. Thanks for sharing, those stats of what she’s done with her blog is incredible! Very inspiring.

I’ve been considering trying a blog just to have some sort of outlet. So I can send you to my wordpress, but you won’t be able to read a thing. LOL. I visit mostly political blogs, and check in at yours, Ferrari’s, LCBC Blog, Wilkinson’s and Paul’s frequently.

Thanks for the chance to share our blogs with your audience. It’s a true act of internet chivalry.

Last year to decided to use my blog as a container for longer, ruminating ideas that didn’t fit on any other social network. So, it’s a bit inconsistent but I like it that way. I only publish ideas that feel complete. http://www.kevinpmahan.com

Two other blogs I read daily and enjoy are Jared Erickson’s design blog http://jarederickson.com & Stephen Brewster’s creativity and leadership blog at http://www.stephenbrewster.me

    Thanks again Adam!

Kevin, thanks for sharing. Two things. 1) I love reading your blog. 2) I also love reading Brewster’s blog.

I’ll have to check out Jared Erickson’s blog. I’m a sucker for good design.

After trying a ‘writing’ Blog. . .it never went anywhere and I got frustrated because I just didn’t keep it going even for myself. . . So, I finally found a topic near & dear to my heart. . .cooking. . . & from your latest tweet, looks like you could use some help! My goal is to help anyone who likes or wants to learn to cook, get some tested recipes and learn some new techniques. . .

Sheri, those cookies….well, I call them cookie chips. At least they tasted good. Maybe I’ll be visiting your site for some help in the kitchen.
